Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic General Counsel to serve as the principal legal advisor for our organization. This role involves overseeing all legal affairs, ensuring compliance, and delivering expert legal insights to leadership. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of complex legal frameworks and be adept at navigating corporate law, while also demonstrating exceptional communication and analytical skills.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to and in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia
- Minimum of 5 years of legal experience
- Experience in real estate law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance
- Proven track record of providing strategic legal counsel to senior leadership
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local real estate laws and regulations
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Experience with litigation management and working with outside counsel
