EC Teacher Assistant @ Carr Elementary

The Exceptional Children Teacher Assistant provides support to students with health, behavioral, or instructional needs, helping them meet Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals and succeed in the general curriculum. The role involves assisting teachers, supporting students with disabilities, and performing various tasks to ensure student success.

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Minimum of 48 semester hours or an Associate's degree
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Auditory, visual, and physical skills necessary to manage students and the classroom
• Willingness to obtain CDL
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Knowledge of child development stages
• General knowledge of curriculum and student handbook rules
• Ability to operate common office machines
