Payroll Specialist

We’re looking for a motivated Payroll Specialist to help make everyone’s journeys better. This role involves processing payroll, auditing billing, and ensuring compliance with federal and provincial policies as well as the collective bargaining agreement. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of payroll experience in a unionized environment, with experience in Ultimate Software (Workday) and Kronos an asset. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.

Requirements

• Experience with Ultimate Software (Workday) and Kronos is preferred
• High School Diploma or GED required, Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred
• 2 to 3 years of payroll experience in a unionized environment
• Excellent customer service, detail-oriented
• Certification of Payroll Compliance Practitioner or candidate working towards certification from the Canadian Payroll Association
