Requirements

• Supervising a labour planner, team leads, drivers and driver assistants
• Employee development and retention
• Performance evaluation, coaching, counseling, and preparing corrective action for employees
• Developing, recommending, and implementing short and long term goals for the department
• Validating Driver’s daily schedule and confirming operation is executing on the labour plan
• Performing airside ramp safety audits
• Ensuring compliance with Transport Canada, and YVR Airport Authority security and badging requirements
• Maintaining the fleet to company standards
• Ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with airline customer & regulatory requirements
• Preparing management reports
• Training and monitoring employees on Gate Gourmet standard operating procedures
