Field Product Application Engineer

Gates is a leading manufacturer of application-specific fluid power and power transmission solutions. The company is looking for a Field Product Application Engineer to join its global team, working with customers on a variety of product applications in the industrial market. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with strong mechanical and technical skills, capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• Providing engineering service to customers and clients in the proper application and selection of power transmission products
• Effectively present technical and product training material to internal and external customers
• Working cooperatively with North American Field Sales, Product Line Managers, and the Marketing Team to achieve organizational success
• Analyzing application requirements, providing failure analysis, selecting components, and making recommendations to meet system requirements
• Troubleshooting any questions customers pose via phone, email, and in-person
