Clinical Support Technician - Ocala, FL. Supervises clients' therapeutic and recreational activities, monitors client break periods and movement, and reports client observations. Provides didactic sessions, presents chemical dependency education, and assists clients in complying with Center rules and regulations.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalency with two (2) years of prior experience in the substance abuse field
- An Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree in any unrelated area of study from an accredited academic institution and one (1) year of experience in the counseling or chemical addictions field
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in any of the social sciences
- General knowledge of the physical, cognitive and psychosocial functioning level of the client population
- Good interpersonal and communication skills necessary to exchange information and interact with treatment team and referral sources
