The Development and Events Coordinator will coordinate fundraising and engagement events, serve as primary staff liaison to the Catalyst Council, and support volunteer leadership and shared development operations. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, minimum 2 years nonprofit experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and donor databases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 2 years nonprofit experience; development, event coordination, or volunteer engagement experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, OneNote, and PowerPoint; donor database experience required (Bloomerang preferred)
- Must be available for occasional evening and weekend events
- Experience working with volunteer committees, boards, or councils preferred
- Must possess effective communication, listening, and organizational skills
- Experience supporting events, programs, and fundraising initiatives
- Strong organizational, priority-setting, and time-management skills
- Must be detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions delivered in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving multiple variables in standardized situations
- Ability to collaborate and contribute ideas to enhance engagement and fundraising efforts
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
