Electrical Engineering Manager

The Electrical Engineering Manager oversees a team responsible for completing construction projects, ensuring timely and detailed coordination and installation designs for electrical systems. They collaborate with project teams and customers to provide innovative, cost-effective solutions.

Requirements

• Lead multiple projects during preconstruction phases
• Maintain knowledge of relevant codes and standards
• Perform and review load, voltage drop, short circuit, and lighting calculations
• Oversee and mentor a team of Design Engineers and Virtual Designers
• Manage onboarding and training for new team members
• Collaborate with Architects, Engineers, MEP subcontractors, clients, consultants, and project personnel
• Review legal contracts, BIM Execution Plans, scopes of work, specifications, plans, and jurisdictional codes
• Create coordination and installation drawings per Gaylor Electric Best Practices
• Ensure financial and quality compliance and performance of the region
