Job Description
GCI embodies excellence, integrity and professionalism. We solve the hard problems. As a Systems Engineer, a typical day will include performing technical resources for data engineering, developing and maintaining data exploitation platforms, and working within an existing team environment.
Requirements
- Perform technical resources for data engineering
- Develop and maintain data exploitation platforms
- Accelerate the timely, reliable, and secure delivery of publicly available data
- Provide customized products and services
- Utilize in-house capabilities and tradecraft
- Work closely with the customer’s product owner and program manager
- Coordinate with multiple entities
- Apply DevOps principles and philosophies
- Support data engineering efforts to analyze large data sets
- Maintain all source code in customer-wide, remote Git repository
