As a Cloud Engineer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful by providing support to the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Ordnance Information System (OIS) and to provide technical expertise on a mission-critical program.

What You Will Do

Provide hands-on cloud engineering support across development, integration, testing, and operations for complex cloud-based applications. Lead system engineering activities—including requirements analysis, architecture design, technical assessments, and interface standards development.

Requirements

• 8+ years of cloud engineering and architecting enterprise IT solutions
• Extensive understanding and experience programming and designing software using Terraform, Ansible, Java, J2EE, Oracle, WebLogic, Tomcat and AWS cloud services
• Demonstrated expertise in systems engineering, including requirements analysis and system architecture design
• Ability to liaise with government, vendors, and other IT personnel for problem resolution
• Demonstrated experience in network and cyber security design, engineering, and operations with emphasis on Navy capabilities
• At least one nationally recognized vendor certification
• Navy experience
• Strong verbal and written technical communication skills
