Job Description
A HMI Software Engineer role in Bengaluru, designing and implementing HMI software for single machines. Responsibilities include developing HMI software, translating customer requests, and working with a dynamic team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Automation, or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role within an international business environment
- Very good knowledge of Object-oriented Programming (Java, Java Swing, A-Vis, etc.)
- Strong understanding of Network Technologies, including Basic, TCP/IP, and OPC UA
- Proficiency in software versioning tools, such as GIT
- Knowledge of IEC 61131-3 and Structured Text (optional)
- Familiarity with databases (optional)
- Experience in working with agile teams and tools (MS DevOps, Jira, etc.)
- Experience in Development of UI (User-Interface)
- Knowledge in User-centric design (preferable)
- Self-supportive, result-driven, and a team player
- Willingness to travel globally (10 to 20%)
- Fluent in spoken and written English
