Job Description
Gear Inc. is looking for an Accountant to join our team with responsibilities and requirements as follows: Manage full sets of accounts, prepare and analyze financial statements, reconcile banks, and ensure timely payments.
Requirements
- Manage full sets of accounts (AR, AP, GL)
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts
- Monitor budget variances and implement corrective actions when necessary
- Reconcile banks, inter-co, accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely payments and maintenance of fixed assets register
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Report on the company's financial health and liquidity
- Communicate with accounts team and outsource vendor in other countries
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
- Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and guidelines.
