Job Description
The Health and Well-Being Coach II will care for GEHA health plan members through health coaching, and health and well-being education. The coach will be a valued team member who contributes to several health and well-being programs, such as lifestyle coaching, adaptive exercise, fitness training, health education, well-being content creation, and care coordination with a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Certified by the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching (NBC-HWC)
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., health sciences, nutrition, psychology)
- A minimum of 2 years of coaching experience
- Some coaching experience within a telehealth/virtual environment is preferred
- Active listening, empathetic, clear, motivational interviewing, non-judgmental attitude, feedback, encouragement, and cultural sensitivities
