Intern – Regulatory/Accreditation Strategist

G.E.H.A is a nonprofit member association that provides medical and dental benefits to federal employees and retirees, military retirees and their families. We seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to assist our team in managing regulatory and accreditation compliance for our health plan.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program with a focus on healthcare administration, public health, business, or a related field.
• 3.0 overall GPA
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Good analytical skills
• Demonstrated initiative both independently and within a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
• Interest in healthcare quality, compliance and accreditation processes
• Demonstrated success with process improvement
