Job Description
GEICO is looking for a skilled communicator to join their Corporate Communications team. The Senior Manager, Internal Communications role involves developing and executing strategic internal communications to engage, inform, and inspire GEICO associates.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of relevant corporate communications experience
- Strong internal communications experience and writing skills with the ability to understand and communicate difficult concepts
- Exceptional communicator: able to present ideas verbally, in writing, formally and informally
- Desire and ability to focus more on humanity, less on corporate speak
- Adept at influencing business partners and driving adoption of new comms initiatives
- Experience working on Human Resources/People communications at a large company
- Ability to work quickly and multitask in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
- Proficiency in using communication and collaboration platforms and analytics to drive effective communications
