Job Description
GEICO is seeking an experienced Engineer with a passion for building high-performance, low maintenance, zero-downtime platforms, and applications. As a Staff Engineer, you will help drive our insurance business transformation, providing a friction-less experience to our customers and maintaining the highest standards of protection and availability.
Requirements
- 8 or more years of professional software engineering or applied machine learning experience
- 2 or more years working with Generative AI or LLM-based systems in production
- Fluency and specialization with at least two modern languages such as Java, Python or C# including object-oriented design
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and modern AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, and OpenAI or Anthropic APIs
- Demonstrated experience designing, building, and operating production AI systems including agentic workflows and intelligent automation features
- Proven experience building scalable, resilient, secure, and maintainable products and systems that run reliably in production
