Nurse Practitioner Physician Assistant - Neurology - Neuromuscular

Geisinger's Neuroscience Institute is seeking a neurology physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join the neurology neuromuscular team at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Wilkes Barre, PA. The NP or PA will work primarily in an outpatient clinic setting and assist with arranging follow-up care for patients.

Requirements

• Perform initial assessment and triage of patients
• Keep track of pertinent procedure and laboratory results
• Assist with arranging appropriate follow-up for patients
• Answer and return phone calls from established patients and their families
• Obtain or assist in the preauthorization process for medications, diagnostic studies, and treatments
• Screen patients
