Patient Care Technician (Advanced Acute CareOrthopedics Unit) - No CNA Cert Required - Day Shift

Geisinger is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join its Advanced Acute Care Orthopedics Unit. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, committed to delivering high-quality care, and able to work collaboratively with the care team. The unit is implementing a new model of care that utilizes more Patient Care Technicians to take responsibility for and perform duties that do not require a nursing license. The successful candidate will be trained on the job and will have opportunities for career advancement, autonomy, and involvement in patient care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Ability to work collaboratively with the care team
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
