Job Description
Geisinger is proud to offer a full-time Inpatient RN up to $24,000 hiring incentive for eligible candidates. The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Advanced Acute Care Medical unit at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. The RN will assess, plan, and provide patient care, and participate in unit-based decision-making and quality and safety education programs.
Requirements
- Assesses, plans, and provides patient care
- Coordinates patient care and interaction of staff
- Meets qualifications to provide care for patients in assigned nursing unit
- Provides direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies according to policy and procedure
- Evaluates effectiveness of nursing interventions and revises plan of care based upon patient response to interventions
