Job Description
GEM Technologies, Inc. is seeking a System Engineer with an active DOE "Q" Clearance for full-time work in Oak Ridge, TN, supporting the Y-12 National Security Complex. This role involves providing support during machining center installations/operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance, leveraging systems expertise. The position requires an understanding of nuclear safety and operating principles.
Requirements
- ABET Accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- US citizenship with an active or recent "Q" Clearance
- Experience in conduct of Engineering, operations, and maintenance for nuclear facilities
- Willingness to work in a production environment
- Understanding of engineering, operations, and maintenance principles for nuclear facilities.
