Postdoctoral Fellow - AI/ML for Immunology, Vander Heiden Lab

We advance science so that we all have more time with the people we love. A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available in the Vander Heiden Lab of the Biological Research AI Development (BRAID) group within the AI for Biology & Translation (AIBT) Department.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science or Machine Learning related field
• Proficiency with multiple AI model architectures (e.g., transformers, MIL, GANs, GNNs) and explainability frameworks (e.g., integrated gradients).
• Experience with both analysis and computational method development for single-cell RNA-seq and AIRR-seq (BCR or TCR).
• Experience with python, machine learning libraries, version control, containerization, and high-performance compute environments.
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex AI/ML approaches to both computation and experimental audiences.
• A history of high-impact, first-author publications in AI/ML, bioinformatics, or immunology topic areas.
• Independent, highly motivated, and highly collaborative with the ability to work together with multi-disciplinary teams of computational and experimental scientists.
