Job Description
The Associate General Counsel provides counsel to the General Conference, General Conference Corporation, ADRA, Hope Channel, and the North American Division. The role involves providing expertise in religious liberty and litigation, and working closely with the General Counsel to achieve organizational objectives.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree in an American Bar Association accredited law school
- Current or future admission to the Maryland Bar
- Minimum of three years in the practice of law and experience in and knowledge of church organization and administration
- Knowledge of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and its Working Policies
- Advanced English language skills
- Strategic planning, leadership, and organizational skills
