Job Description
The Engineer I - Structural position is responsible for dimensional control in shipbuilding, working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will join the Accuracy Control & Optical Tool group supporting construction at the Groton Shipyard.
Requirements
- B.S. degree or higher in a civil, mechanical, aeronautical or similar engineering field, or a B.S. or higher in Applied Mathematics or other technical field
- 1-5 years of post-graduate experience in Engineering
- Previous experience in Shipbuilding, the construction industry or manufacturing environment desired
- Previous experience with interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
