Job Description
Experienced Network Engineer role at Department 475, responsible for managing the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program Network. The successful candidate will work in a technically diverse environment with a team of system administrators, supporting network infrastructure and implementing government standard configurations.
Requirements
- High school Diploma/GED
- 5+ years of engineering experience post graduation supporting an IT infrastructure that supports multiple physical locations.
- Experience working with Cisco routing and switching technologies
- Experience cabling and testing, troubleshooting, and repairing copper and fiber issues.
- Documented experience with several of the following: TACACS, 802.1x/MAB, SNMP, NetFlow, Syslog, DNS, DHCP, Network Troubleshooting, Data networking (Layer 2/Layer 3) and enterprise network environments, Network design and architecture
