Job Description
The Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Examiner will contribute to oversight of NDT at specific Electric Boat suppliers and distributed manufacturing facilities. This position will provide technical evaluation, guidance, and expertise in various NDT methods and will be responsible for supplier on-site evaluations, audits, and program administration.
Requirements
- High-school diploma or GED with appropriate related NDT certification(s) or experience
- Certified Level II in at least MT, PT, and VT in accordance with ASNT SNT-TC-1A/NAS-410/EN-4179/NSTR-99 with a minimum of five (5) years of experience performing hands on NDT inspections
- Ability to pass and maintain Level III Certification within One (1) year of hire
