Job Description
We are seeking a Steel Cutting & Forming Mechanic to operate CNC machines, burners, formers, and other equipment to create parts for nuclear submarines. The ideal candidate has experience in Carpentry, Metal Fabrication, Shipfitting, or Cranes/Forklifts and is able to work all shifts.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent OR a minimum of 2 years related technical experience
- Ability to read Basic blueprints and interpretation for layout, forming & shipyard procedures
- Ability to perform and use basic math and measuring tools to perform initial layout and verification of final dimensions
