Welder (New Construction)
Previous experience, training, and ability to qualify in two welding processes
Electrician (New Construction)
Two years of experience and/or four years of experience, NASSCO assessment or training program
Corporate and Physical Security Officer- All Levels
High school diploma or equivalent, California Guard Card or P.O.S.T certificate, excellent customer service skills, and experience in computer programs such as MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel
Outside Machinist (Repair)
High school or equivalent education, 3+ years of experience, training in machine shop, and good mechanical skills
Outside Machinist (New Construction)
High school education, 3+ years experience, or equivalent training, and ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
Pipefitter 1st Class
5+ years of experience, High school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of J1 and J2 requirements
Engineer - Electrical Engineering (Mid-Career)
Bachelor's Degree, 4 years of experience, and Professional Engineer's License required
Firefighter
Basic knowledge of Firefighting, successful completion of CSFM Firefighter 1, and ability to provide solutions to routine technical problems
Crane Operator
NCCCO license required. Experience with cranes and rigging preferred. Understanding of crane operations, load charts, and safety instructions are essential
Designer - Electrical Engineering (Early & Mid-Career)
6-10 years of experience in ship design, 4 years of shipbuilding experience can substitute for education
