We are seeking a Fluid Systems Engineer to lead the design, analysis, and deployment of fluid systems for our uranium enrichment facility. The role is responsible for developing highly reliable, manufacturable systems that move, store, and control fluids critical to enrichment operations.
Requirements
- Perform system-level sizing and performance analysis for fluid systems to establish requirements and operating margins.
- Design pressurized and unpressurized components and assemblies, producing original CAD models, drawings, and specifications.
- Conduct structural and mechanical analysis to ensure survivability under pressure, thermal, and operational loads.
- Lead first-article builds and work directly with manufacturing teams to establish robust production processes.
- Plan and execute development, qualification, and acceptance testing for critical hardware.
- Define concepts of operations for systems, from commissioning and acceptance testing through steady-state operation.
- Participate in internal and external design reviews with cross-functional partners, suppliers, and stakeholders.
