Embedded Simulation Developer - SIL and Virtualization

General Motors is seeking an experienced Virtualization and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) Integration Engineer to support the Test Environment Agile Release Train (SIL ART) in creating virtual in-the-loop environments for development, verification and validation of embedded controllers and calibrations for various domains, including propulsion thermal management, battery management, and body electronics. The role requires a passion for modeling, system simulation and integration, and demonstrated capability for managing technical and customer needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in one of the following disciplines: Engineering, Computer Science or related fields
• 2-5 years of software engineering experience
• Proficient in Embedded C and Python
• Adept experience with MATLAB and Simulink in context of plant model development and integration
• Proficient in automotive communication technologies such as CAN, LIN, SPI and automotive ethernet.
