Job Description
General Motors is seeking an Experienced Engineering Desense Manager, RF & Wireless Technologies to lead GMâs RF desense and coexistence function across multiple vehicle programs and product platforms. The role provides technical and people leadership for RF coexistence, architecture execution, and validation, while helping scale GMâs internal RF design capability in alignment with agile vehicle development practices.
Requirements
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 10+ years of RF engineering experience
- 5+ years in RF desense and coexistence
- Demonstrated experience leading engineers or technical teams
- Strong expertise in RF interference mechanisms, mitigation techniques, and system-level trade-offs
- Experience with RF simulation tools (CST, HFSS, FEKO)
- Experience with RF test equipment (UXM, CMX, MT8000A, CMW500, OTA chambers)
- Proven ability to deliver RF solutions through production in a cross-functional environment
