Job Description
The Mechanical Engineer provides mechanical and manufacturing engineering support for production operations, ensuring safe work practices, leading technical troubleshooting, and supporting Skilled Trades and production teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelorās in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Manage mechanical engineering projects
- Investigate conveyance and equipment problems
- Work with Headquarters Vehicle Systems engineering groups
- Communicate project requirements, plans, and status to departmental and plant leadership
- Develop/request cost estimates, investment forecasts, business cases, appropriation requests, and plans for conveyor and other mechanical project initiatives
