As the Safety Performance Integration Engineer - Structure & Post Crash Electrical Integrity, you will lead and execute development and validation of vehicle crash safety systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering, physics or math
- 4+ years of application in virtual CAE and physical testing relating to vehicle structures
- Lead Post Crash Electrical Integrity assessment (PCEI) and architectural issue resolution
- Propose design and PCEI countermeasures in cross-functional forums for issues identified in simulation while balancing requirements of other teams and determine solutions that meet critical milestones
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt expeditiously
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others
- High level of analytical ability to solve challenging problems and to integrate complex systems
- Knowledge of statistical and optimization tools and techniques
