Job Description
The Senior Controls Development Software Engineer role is a hybrid position that requires the candidate to be onsite approximately 3 days per week. The role is paramount to the successful review, development, simplification, integration and release of VIP and SDV2.0 architectures controller software. The selected candidate will learn, modify existing and develop new innovative controls strategies, which will be at the core of all vehicles within the General Motors portfolio.
Requirements
- BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent degree.
- 5+ years Engineering experience related to embedded controls (PLC, Power Systems, ADAS, Infotainment), calibration, integration, or software development
- Skilled with software development (C, C++, Python)
- Understanding of embedded controls development and delivery processes, including SAFE/Agile.
- Experience using embedded controls test assets (SIL, HIL, Vehicle, etc) and tools (INCA, MDA, etc).
