Senior HIL Core Engineer

As a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) Engineer within General Motors’ AV Core Infrastructure team, you will design, build, and maintain advanced HIL systems that accelerate validation of embedded controllers and perception systems across next-generation vehicles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering—or equivalent hands-on experience in HIL, lab automation, or robotics integration.
• 4+ years of experience in design, integration, and maintenance of hardware validation systems or HIL infrastructure.
• Familiarity with ECU harnessing, power systems, and signal integrity best practices.
• Competence with Linux CLI, networking (Ethernet, switches, VLANs), and power distribution.
• Proven record of cross-functional collaboration, vendor management, and hands-on debugging of complex electromechanical systems.
