Senior Software Engineer

The Scaled Engineering Operations (SEO) team at General Motors is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to elevate the quality, trust, and operational efficiency of simulated tests, with a focus on driving test quality metrics within the Simulation organization. This role will build out infrastructure components to augment the offshore vendor team, add observability to process steps, and expand infrastructure to support custom solutions and integrations with GM simulation tooling workflows.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience developing scalable software solutions using Python in a production environment
• Proven experience in building backend infrastructure supporting internal tooling and dashboards
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
