Senior System Engineer - Braking at General Motors. Lead the development and integration of future and rear brake-by-wire technologies. Reimagine vehicle architectures and deliver safe, high-performance braking solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Computer Science, IT, or Physics
- 5+ years of experience in automotive braking systems or chassis feature development.
- Strong understanding and demonstrated capability in vehicle dynamics, braking control systems, and system engineering principles.
- Strong understanding of FMEA methodology and requirements management tools
- Experience with embedded controls
- Experience with requirements management and simulation tools (e.g., DNG, MATLAB, carsim, INCA, CAN,)
- Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering
- Experience with ISO 26262 and functional safety practices
- Familiarity with model-based development and simulation tools.
- Prior experience in braking systems and embedded controls
- Knowledge of ADAS or integrated braking systems
- High degree of Managerial Courage and Comfort with Ambiguity
