Job Description
The Sr. Cyber Detection Incident Analyst will play a critical role in strengthening GM's ability to detect and analyze advanced cyber threats across a global, hybrid enterprise. The role will involve leading high-impact investigations, developing and refining detection logic, and applying threat intelligence to strengthen GM's detection posture.
Requirements
- Conduct expert-level triage and deep-dive analysis of security events
- Lead incident escalation workflows and collaborate with the Incident Response team
- Perform proactive threat hunting across endpoints, networks, identity systems, cloud platforms, and SaaS environments
- Correlate telemetry across diverse systems to identify sophisticated attack patterns
- Apply strong understanding of OS internals, cloud architectures, networking, authentication protocols, and adversary tradecraft
