Tactical Operations Manager

The Tactical Operations Manager will lead a key area within Global Supply Chain focused on supplier manufacturing operations. The role combines people leadership, supplier crisis management, and process optimization, as well as driving continuous improvement with frequent on-site support at suppliers and manufacturing plants.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, program management or supply chain management
• Strong understanding of shop-floor manufacturing operations and supply chain functions
• Excellent communication and command skills
• Strong leadership skills, managerial courage, organizational skills, strong business acumen and very strong problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to manage complex, high-pressure situations and make timely decisions with limited information
• Skilled in root cause analysis, structured problem-solving, and crisis communication
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels, internally and at suppliers
• Safety-oriented, with strong people leadership, talent development, and communication skills
• High degree of autonomy, flexibility, and significant travel required often at short notice, including some weekends
