Job Description
Behavioral Health Medical Director / Psychiatrist role responsible for providing coordinated psychiatric services to patients, including evaluation, diagnosis, medication assessments, and treatment planning. The role involves direct oversight of medication management providers and working with the BH Leadership team to reach department and organizational goals.
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school
- Residency trained from an accredited institution
- Board certified or eligible in Adult, Child, and Adolescent Psychiatry
- Eligible for Connecticut licensure & federal/state-controlled substance licenses
