Under the direction of the Program Supervisor, the Applied Behavior Analysis Technician works as an integral member of behavioral/mental health programs within Genesee Health System. Provides education, training, and support to children and families, and makes referrals for other needed services and supports.
Requirements
- Completed at least 25 semester hours of college in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Sciences, Human Development or related fields
- Registered Behavior Technician credential in good standing with the BACB (must submit proof of credential)
- Valid driver's license, current insurance, and use of a vehicle during working hours
- Ability to physically perform the tasks, including lifting up to 35lbs, standing for extended periods, and walking
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with children that have special needs (preferred)
