Peer Support Specialist

Genesee Health System is looking for a Peer Support Specialist to join our dynamic clinical team. This full-time position will work in our Behavioral Health Urgent Care, providing comprehensive services to clients in the designated program.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current or previous recipient of verifiable mental health services, substance use disorder services, or developmental disability services
• Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) status through the Michigan Department of Community Health’s certification program
• Valid driver’s license
• Current insurance
• Ability to physically perform tasks
