Conseiller(ère) juridique / Legal Counsel

Genetec is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its dynamic team in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial law, negotiation, and problem-solving, with experience drafting and reviewing agreements, and a proven track record of collaboration and communication across global teams. The role will involve providing practical legal guidance, managing multiple matters, and maintaining attention to detail, while also being proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Member in good standing with the Quebec Bar or another Canadian Bar
• Minimum of 5 years of experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements
• Proven negotiation and problem-solving capabilities
• Highly collaborative professional
• Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
• Proactive and adaptable
• Familiarity with international legal frameworks and corporate governance practices
• Intellectual curiosity and strong adaptability
• Fluent in French and English, both verbal and written
