Développeur(se) de formations / Courseware Developer

We're looking for a Courseware Developer / Instructional Designer to create engaging, learner-centered learning experiences that strengthen knowledge retention and skill application.

Requirements

• Designing engaging, learner-centred experiences across multiple formats (e-learning, blended learning, instructor-led, microlearning)
• Collaborating with subject matter experts, trainers, and cross-functional teams
• Incorporating feedback and learning data to continuously improve training content
• Maintaining content quality, consistency, and alignment with standards and learning objectives
• Working with product, and R&D teams to understand the platform so that you can design the best course flow to explain it to technical and non-technical audiences
• Analyzing learning requirements associated with upcoming products and features
• Designing courses around audience objectives, while maintaining modularity and consistency within Genetec’s course catalog
• Developing materials for classroom training, online instructor-led, and self-paced courses, including presentation slides, training exercises, scenario-based exams, and reference videos
• Ensuring course certification criteria are aligned with skills required for successful deployment, maintenance and operation of Genetec’s products
• Following standard courseware development, review, and continuous improvement processes
• Delivering occasional courses at Genetec’s Montreal office to employees and customers to gather feedback and refine materials
• Ensuring trainer readiness through train-the-trainer activities
• Recommending tools and infrastructure, including hardware kits and digital course resources, to support learning activities
