The Senior System Administrator is an IT expert responsible for setting up and maintaining IT systems, servers, and infrastructure for Genezen. The role involves ensuring the accessibility and uptime of GxP and corporate IT systems, as well as implementing and supporting Enterprise Systems and Laboratory Computer Systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing Controlled Change and Patch Management of GxP systems, system administration, and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network-related fields.
Requirements
- Maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network devices, and virtualization
- System security, software updates, and change control procedures
- Capacity, storage planning, and database performance
- Installation and upgrade of computer components and software
- Integration of automation processes per Computer System Validation SOPs and protocols
- Compliance to regulatory and quality requirements
- Backup operations, data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
- Troubleshooting hardware and software errors
- Documentation and technical specifications for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
- Lead helpdesk support efforts
- Provide support to colleagues in multiple facilities
- Participate in internal audits and audits by external groups
- Communicate with vendors, support-companies, and third parties
