Assistant Manager- Financial Planning & Analysis (Budgeting & Forecasting)

Genpact is seeking an Assistant Manager- Financial Planning & Analysis (Budgeting & Forecasting) to manage periodic forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning processes, and to drive cross-functional collaboration between finance, operations, and business units. The successful candidate will have relevant years of experience in managing Insurance FP&A processes, experience in working with an insurance client, and a thorough knowledge of Accounting Procedures and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Requirements

• CA / CPA / M-Com / B-Com or Graduate in Finance
• Relevant years of experience in managing Insurance FP&A processes
• Experience in working with an insurance client
• Thorough knowledge of the Accounting Procedures
• Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Experience with accounting software, like SAP, EPM tools, etc.
• Experience with visualization tools like PowerBI
• Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and succinctly articulate issues to senior management
• Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
• Self-starter, with ability to work under own initiative
• Strong time management skills
• Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
