Genworth is seeking an Associate Accountant to join their Investments team, responsible for preparing and reviewing accounting processes to ensure accurate financial reporting. The role involves evaluating system outputs, researching accounting guidance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to create efficiencies and deliver superior business results.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business-related discipline
- 1-3 years of GAAP/Stat Accounting Experience
- Collaborative mindset
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to prioritize assignments and multi-task
- Skills including MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Prior experience with account reconciliations, exception management, and resolution (nice to have)
- CPA or other certification(s) (nice to have)
- Skills including Oracle General Ledger and TM1 (nice to have)
