Genworth is a company that empowers families to navigate the aging journey with confidence. The Senior Manager, Investments Accounting and Reporting role is responsible for overseeing the investment accounting and reporting for the company's investment portfolio.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related discipline
- CPA is required
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience with GAAP and/or Statutory accounting and reporting
- Demonstrated ability to manage a team through tight monthly close processes
- Proven ability utilizing project management disciplines and tools
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across cross-functional groups
- Experience analyzing new investments and accounting guidance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities
- Skills including MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Oracle Financials, TM1, Black Rock & PAM
