Field Geotechnical Professional

GTA is seeking a Field Geotechnical Professional to join their team in Somerset, NJ. The ideal candidate will have up to 4 years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Geology. Responsibilities include coordinating drilling projects, reviewing laboratory testing, and preparing geotechnical reports.

Requirements

• Coordinate and manage drilling projects
• Coordinate and review laboratory testing
• Prepare geotechnical reports, or pertinent sections thereof
• Perform routine calculations, including settlement, bearing capacity, lateral earth pressures, slope stability, etc. under the observation of senior staff
• Design and prepare construction plans for retaining walls and other structures under the supervision of senior staff
• Provide a variety of other observation and testing services for geotechnical and construction observation and testing projects
