The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for administering programs related to all phases of human resources activity. The role involves maintaining knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations, advising front line supervisors and managers, and conducting employee investigations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a 4 year college or university or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- PC literate to include Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral
- Excellent critical thinking skills
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and co-workers
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
