Job Description
As a Warehouse Forklift Service Technician II at GEODIS, you will analyze and diagnose equipment problems, recommend service and repair actions, and perform scheduled equipment maintenance. You will also document each service call, observe safety procedures, and maintain company service vehicles.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalency
- Minimum 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment
- Experience with repairing forklifts
- Technical or mechanical training/certifications preferred
- Possesses a valid driver’s license
- Above average communication skills
- Ability to understand service and training manuals, including interpreting schematics and using electrical diagnostic instruments
- Can safely operate power tools, lifts, hoists, hydraulic jacks and overhead cranes
